Known additive
Advantame: a very intense sweetener chemically related to aspartame (E951), but does not inherit its carcinogenicity classification. EFSA's 2013 assessment found no concern for genotoxicity or carcinogenicity at permitted use levels. Its main metabolite is ANS9801-acid, not aspartame.
