Known additive
Neotame: a chemical derivative of aspartame (E951), but does not inherit its carcinogenicity classification. EFSA's 2025 re-evaluation found no safety concern at currently permitted and reported uses and levels, with no indication of carcinogenicity in the studies assessed. Its main metabolite is NC-00751.
