Yellow 2G: not an authorised EU food additive (absent from the Annex II Union list); not permitted in the US. JECFA (WHO Food Additives Series 6, 1974) could not set an ADI — evaluation not possible on the data available (multi-generation, embryotoxicity, metabolism gaps); no carcinogenicity or genotoxicity has been demonstrated and there is no IARC classification. The concern is azo-dye intolerance (allergy/asthma) in sensitive individuals.

Nutly strongly discourages regular consumption.
